![]() Although there was no physical reason for him not to be included in their imaginary play, they simply put him to one side and played with the other three. All except the tampered with toy which was just left on the shelf. While playing on the carpet however, they would happily play with any of the figures regardless of their type and in-game abilities. They were soon leveling up and upgrading, and the Series 1 figure got rather left behind. ![]() Their added attacks and abilities gave them the edge over the original Series 1 figure. While playing the video-game, the Light-core and Series 2 figures soon become favorites. Over the course of the weekend they, of course, realized that the tampered with Eruptor couldn't be used in the game, and that the Series 1, Series 2 and Light-core versions had different in-game features. I was interested to see which version of Eruptor would be played with more. After some protests that actually got into the idea, and started making up all kinds of imaginary games involving these four similar figures. I then hid the rest of our Skylanders and suggested to the kids that we would just use these Eruptor figures for the next couple of days.
